I’m Michelle, the founder and artisan behind Forged In Fire Jewellery. For over a decade, I’ve been captivated by the alchemy of flame and glass, transforming molten beads into heirloom‑quality

earrings and necklaces that celebrate your story.


Working from my Canberra studio, I blend traditional lampwork techniques and Murano glass with a modern design sensibility, ensuring each piece is as durable as it is beautiful.

Our jewellery is handcrafted using molten Murano glass and high-quality sterling silver, ensuring both beauty and durability.

Solid glass beads are tougher than you think. I anneal each bead in a kiln to strengthen the glass. Beads will bounce on hard floors. However, they can break when they hit another bead. 

You can rest assured that these pieces are designed to be worn and enjoyed. Like any jewellery, do take care of it.

A quick wipe with a soft cloth will keep it looking brilliant. If it gets dirty, use a little mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive cleaners as they can scratch the glass. Just dry thoroughly before storing.

Yes. Every bead is handcrafted in my studio in Canberra, Australia. Molten glass shaped in the flame and cooled overnight in a kiln to give it strength. Nothing is mass-produced. When you wear Forged In Fire Jewellery you are wearing a miniature artwork that has been crafted with care. Just for you.
